She is survived by: her children, Jerry Montelongo (Holly), Larry Montelongo (Bridgett Ramon) and Theresa Welch (Edward); her sister Gloria Rios; her grandchildren, John Montelongo, Jerry Montelongo, James Montelongo, Ryan Montelongo, Logan Montelongo, Hannah Welch, Adyson Welch, Brooklynn Welch and Jacob Lopez; and her pet Maddie.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903). A rosary was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (7 W Ave N, San Angelo, TX 76903).
She then went on to become a pioneer in the dialysis field as one of the first Chronic dialysis technicians at St. Johns, paving the Foundation of hemodialysis for San Angelo, Tx.
