He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin and Guadalupe; his siblings, Ben Gonzales, Amelia Gonzales and Elsie Lara; and his niece Debra Gonzales.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Valadez of San Angelo. He is also survived by brother and sister in laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
