She was predeceased by: her parents, Melquiades Minjarez and Rumalda Fitchett Minjarez; her son Greg Garza; and her siblings, Sylvia Grimaldo, Helen Torrez and Jose Trevino.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Garcia of San Angelo, Kathy Garza-Tarpley of San Antonio, Terri Narducci of San Antonio and Jerry Garza of San Angelo; her siblings, Tomasa Regino (Albert), Anna Hernandez, Alicia Bastardo (Armando) and Melquiades Minjarez (Joe Tata); and her grandchildren, Jerry Lee Nuncio, Jr., Paul G. Nuncio, Kristina Garza, Ryan A. Garza, Devin T. Tarpley, Casie L. Minjarez, Harley Lee, Mikayla Minjarez, Jonathan T. Garza and Juzel L. Garza. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903).
