He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Langnegger and Jewel Elizabeth Langnegger (Jackson); his sisters, Alice Barnes and Marie Fritz; and his half-brother Charlie Joe Yarbrough.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Broadaway of Harker Heights; his stepsons, Rick Broadaway (Tomoko) of Kanazawa and Mark Broadaway of Harker Heights; his sons, Walter Glenn Lang, Gaylon Lang and Melton Lang; his stepgrandchild Sonna Connell; his sisters, Mary Hawthorne, Betty Shook and Ima McCoy; and his sister-in-law Maxine Yarbrough. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
