He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Raymond Reynolds, Thomas Sears and Francis Sears; and his brothers, Stephen and Andrew Sears.
He is survived by: his parents, James Sears and Glenda Sears (Reynolds) of Alamogordo; his wife Amber Sears (McNider); his daughters, Madison, Lilly, Isabella and Amelia; his grandmothers, JoAnne McElwain of Platte City, Missouri and Mary Reynolds of Kansas City, Missouri; and his siblings, Tubalcain Sears (Erica) of Rio Rancho, Tabitha Ament (Mike) of Cheyenne and Leah Freeman of Cloudcroft. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
