She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Carol Henry Van Horn and Margaret Elsie Van Horn (Clark); and her children, Michael James Deakins, Deborah Sue Funderburk (Deakins), Randall Calvin Deakins, Margaret Ann Carmichael (Deakins) and Frederick Todd Deakins. She was also cherished by the son of her parent's friends.
The family requests charitable donations be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
