He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. McKinney and Mayme Dunnam McKinney; his siblings, Ruth Smith, W. H. McKinney, Jr., Douglas McKinney, Mayme Lee Parker, Robert McKinney, Myrtle Grace McEver, Juanita Raborn and Dorothy Halloran; and his daughters, Debra Lynn McKinney and Kathleen McKinney Vitek.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jean McKinney (Steglich); his son Michael McKinney (Susan); his grandchildren, Scott McKinney (Erin) and Elizabeth McKinney Sauppe (Jakob); his great grandchildren, Mattie McKinney and Grayson McKinney; and his son-in-law Ron Vitek.
