She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Elihu Vestal Newton and Mattie Viola Abel-Newton; her husband Dick; her children, Richard Lee (Dick), Ronald David (Judy) and Brenda Donise Walker (Wes); her grandchildren, Laura Westlake, David Westlake, Sarah Westlake, Lindsay Walker-Cortez (Sean), Brittany Walker-Pratt (Kevin), Christian Walker, Elizabeth Westlake, Katherine Westlake, Meriel Westlake and Ridge Westlake; and her great grandchildren, Walker Cortez, Archer Pratt, Cason Cortez, Max Richard Pratt, Oliver Pratt, Paisley Cortez and Holly Pratt. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
