He is survived by: his children, Charles Lee Smith and Karen Jo Elms; his brother Ira "Nick" Smith; his grandchildren, Michale Charles Olson and Charles Michael Smith; and his great grandchildren, Arabella Olson and Ashton Charles Smith.
