She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Koonce and Gladys Koonce; her husband Walter; her son Neal; and her sisters, Reba Buck and Shirley Jones.
She is survived by: her sister Margaret Colter; her daughter La Wanna; her son-in-law Steve Wheat; her son Eddie Lee; her grandchildren, Eric Stegall (Julie), Natalie Donovan (Nick), Ashley Toutounchi, Brandon Lee, Collin Lee, Jason Lee, Brodie Maxwell, Garrett Lee and Dawson Lee; and her great grandchildren, Hailee Stegall and Ethan Stegall. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
