Obituary for Virginia "Ginny" Parr
Virginia (Ginny) Pate Pemberton Parr passed away peacefully on August 23, 2021, at her home in Sachse, TX, at the age of 56. She was born August 10, 1965, in Norman, OK, to Charles D. and Arden (Evans) Pemberton. Ginny was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rowlett. She was a lifelong learner and educator. She recently retired from Garland ISD. Her most recent role was a high school librarian. She was an avid reader. She inspired others through her dedication and service to others. Ginny had a big heart and a smile for everyone. She was very welcoming and gave the best hugs. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed.
Ginny is survived by her husband of 19 years: Timothy Parr; son Will Parr; daughter: Anna Parr; mother: Arden Key and husband Ronald Key; brother: David (Brandi) Pemberton, bonus brothers Chad (Christi) Key, Matt Key, and Mark Key; father and mothers in-law: Carl and Patsy Parr and Janette Parr; a large extended family including loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Charles D. Pemberton.
A Prayer Service and Celebration (casual/less formal) is scheduled for Friday evening, August 27th, at 7:00 pm.
