He is survived by: his wife Karen Vardeman (Slaten); his children, Leslie Gilbert (Kent) and Cody Vardeman (Deanna); his grandchildren, Noah, Olivia Gilbert, Conner and Dylan Vardeman; his brother Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Phyllis Vardeman.
