She is survived by: her children, Shannon Propst (Scott) and Daniel Nixon (Shannon); her grandchildren, Krist Mikulec, Kaylee Barksdale, Jordan Nixon and Hannah Heidrich; and her sister Billie Peters. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
