She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Smolka and Alma Hutson Smolka; and her brother Douglas Leo Smolka. She is survived by: her sister Marg; her sister-in-law Amie Smolka; her nieces, Lanita King (Jimmy King) and Gina Runnels (Steve Runnels); her great-nieces, Kambrie Sanderfer (Travis Sanderfer), Brooklyn Korinek and Payton Koerner (Donald Koerner); her great-nephew Kaeson King (Maggie King); and also, Memphis Sanderfer, Aubrey King, Carver Korinek and Campbell Koerner.
