She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolae Carcoana and Paraschiva Carcoana; her daughter Despina Dickinson (Ed Dickinson); her grandson Michael Dickinson; and her siblings, Cornelia Dragan, Dorina Popescu, Lidia Tudor and Aurel Carcoana.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Pompilian Nedelcu; her children, Simona, Delia, Corina Wooten (Walt), Adina Nedelcu (Ashley Cardenas), Lucia Johnson (David) and Mihai Nedelcu (Amy); and her sisters, Rodica Maianu (John) and Radu Carcoana (Emilia). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 2 bonus grandchildren.
