He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scott and Ella Scott; and his wife Dolly Marie Shamblin. He is survived by: his daughter Rainey (Evan); his grandchildren, Eric, Hannah, Lydia, Luke and Mark; his sister Charlotte; and also, Bob, Bill and Eugene. He is also survived by many extended family members, friends, and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Waterbrook Bible Fellowship (507 Thomas St, Wylie, TX 75098). A memorial service was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the DFW National Cemetery (2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211).
Tragically, Dolly fell victim to Alzheimer's in the early 2000s and Lewis lovingly cared for her every moment until the day she died.
