He was predeceased by: his uncle Ed Hamilton; and his wife Joyce Dell Covert. He is survived by: his sisters, Laney, Christine, Robin and Bugar; his aunt Evelyn Hamilton; and his children, Jay Covert (Cindy), Brian Covert, Wade Mitchell (Carrie), Kelly Braucht (Ralph) and Lisa Perkins (Brian). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
