We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025, at the age of 79, James Lyle McKee of Sachse, Texas, born in Vernon, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James Lyle had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James Lyle may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He is survived by: his sisters, Debby Harrell (McKee) and Mary Zickefoose (McKee); his children, Ty McKee and Memorie Ross (McKee); and his stepchildren, Harold Record, Lisa Carson (Record) and Ricky Record. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home - Sachse (2925 5th St, Sachse, TX 75048).
