He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Simmons and Betty Culver Simmons; his sister Sherry Gail Simmons; his father-in-law Robert Mullins; his brothers-in-law, Jerry Don Thompson, Mark Haake and Robby Mullins; and his nephew Brian Mullins.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his son Cody Ryon of Sachse, TX; his sisters, Betty Lynn Thompson of Edgewood, TX and Tye Haake of Edgewood, TX; his mother-in-law Maurine Mullins of Sachse, TX; his sisters-in-law, Karen Blackshear (Garon) of Greenville, TX and Sherry Wilson Mullins of Garland, TX.; and his nieces and nephews, Felicha Campbell, Consuela Ables (Andy), Tonya McCartney (Trevour), Tara Mulvhill (Branden), Brandi Sweeney (Billy), Kristina Comeaux (Zack), Jacquelynn Washburn, Kathy Webb (Robert), Gary Mullins (Lisa), Mark Hollis (Audra) and Steven Hollis.
