He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grace and Elmer; his children, Tricia and David; his sister Jean; his sister-in-law Margaret; his wife Joan; his children-in-law, Cheryl and Vince; his brother Paul; his grandchildren, Aimee (Corey), Krista (Matt) and Jon; his great grandchildren, Fox, Lincoln and Maggie; and his stepgrandsons, Torrent and Canyon Decker.
Due to COVID-19 plans for a service will be postponed.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Gary to All Saints Lutheran Church in Palatine, IL or Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Vinton, Ia.
