It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Marie Barnes (Sachse, Texas), born in Shattuck, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 9, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Peterson and Opal Peterson; her sisters, Maudie Matthews and Agnes Roedell; and her half-siblings, Elva Smith and Vernon Leroy Peterson.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Calvin Barnes; her children, Eddie Barnes of McKinney, TX, Paul, Sherri Barnes of McKinney, TX, Chad and Oblio Barnes of Anna, TX; her grandchildren, Jonathan Barnes of Anna, TX, Josh Barnes of Arvada, CO and Grace Dotson of Denison, TX; and her children, Haiden and Elly Barnes of Anna, TX..
