She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Gandy and Thelma Gandy; her husband Jack Holder; and her siblings, Shirley Triplett, Venita Vermillion and Vernon Gandy.

She is survived by: her daughter Sandra Thurman (Joe Thurman); and her grandchildren, Michelle Cook (Lynn Cook), Andrew, Austin and Aaron.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either: Saint Jude's Children's Hospital.
