He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Brogdon and Nadyne Brogdon (Scoggin). He is survived by: his former wife Penelope Pope (Penny); his wife Penny Brogdon of Sachse, TX; his daughter Kelly Knochenmus (Dave) of Murphy, TX; his grandchildren, Alayna Wright of Lubbock, TX and Travis Wright of Lubbock, TX; and his siblings, Glenda Beavers of Longview, TX and Gayle Brogdon (Myrna) of Los Fresnos, TX..

Due to the pandemic, the family plans to postpone a memorial service until after it is safe to gather and celebrate Dale's life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to First Baptist Church of Sachse.
