She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Augustus Nichols and Donie Lessie Sanders; her husband Joseph Wayne Spraggins of Murphy; her sister Geraldine "Jeri"; and her brother-in-law Gerald Elkins of Bethesda.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia McCullough of Mount Enterprise, Texas, Pam Reeb Berry of Murphy and Jack Reeb of Weatherford. She is also survived by 5 grand children, 12 great grand children and 10 great great grand children.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charles W. Smith & Sons Funeral Home - Sachse (2925 5th St, Sachse, TX 75048). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (7405 W Northwest Hwy, Dallas, TX 75225).
