He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Massey; his daughters, Julie Massey Allen (Todd) of Bandera and Crystal Spence Hisey (Kendall) of Austin; his sisters, Violet Routh-Smith (Jerry) of San Antonio and Peggy Franklin of Marble Falls; his grandchildren, Leroy P. Guenther III, Kaylee, Addyson and Avery Allen of Bandera; his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Spence (Patty) of Sabinal, Robert Spence of Sabinal and Linda Wheeler (Dan Howell) of Castroville; his nephew Eugene Pennington Jr.; and his brother-in-law Benford-Routh. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
