Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Ross Burris of Sabinal, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, who passed away at the age of 85, on August 26, 2020. He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Thompson-Rainey; his nephews, Robert A. Thompson, Jr. (Robbie) and Gordon Eugene Thompson; and his niece Mary Kim Thompson. He is survived by: his son Ross; his wife Bernice Julia Herber (Julie); his children, Michael Burris (Cynthia) of San Antonio, Glenda Haynes of Sabinal and Randy Burris (Nive) of Boerne; his grandchildren, Brook Youngs (Jerod), Shevawn Balderas (Micah), Brittany Sandoval (Ramon), Thomas Burris (Vanessa), Michael Matthew Burris, Abby Burris and Joshua Ross Burris; his great grandchildren, Autumn Longoria, Gabriel Sandoval, Scarlett Longoria, Lincoln Burris and Stetson Balderas; his niece Klarissa Johnson (Scott); and his great-nieces, Karlei and Khloei Johnson.
Due to COVID restrictions, the church sanctuary will unfortunately need to be reserved exclusively for family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to one of the following Sabinal organizations: Sabinal EMS Ambulance, PO Box 104; Sabinal Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 145; Sabinal Cemetery, PO Box 94; or Sabinal Lions Club, PO Box 233.
