He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Borrego, (Salas) and Rodolfo Borrego, Sr.; his grandparents, Santos and Anita Fabela; his son Rodolfo Borrego, III; his son-in-law Juan Aguilera, Sr.; and his siblings, Gilberto Borrego, Jesus Fabela, Santos Fabela, Jr., Beatrice Borrego, Maria Salinas and Lile Herrera.
He is survived by: his wife Estella Borrego; his daughters, Delia Borrego of Sabinal and Virginia Borrego of Sabinal; and his siblings, Dolores Fabela of Greenville, Frances Martinez of Quanah, Alice Borrego of San Antonio, Belinda Borrego of San Antonio, Marivel Borrego of San Antonio and George Borrego of San Antonio. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
