With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pam Benson (Sabinal, Texas), born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on March 17, 2025 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Pam Benson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Bill Beazley and Madge Beazley; and her daughter Virginia Lee Crooks. She is survived by: her husband Monty Benson; her children, Mark Crooks (Louise) and Amy Warren (Adam); her grandchildren, Krystal Walker (Dustin), Evan Crooks (Kerra), Ian Warren and Caroline Warren; her great grandchildren, Ryleigh Walker and Brynlee Walker; her siblings, Martha Pinkerton and Bill Beazley (Toddi); her cousins, Lee May, Jr., David Lee, Dale MacAllister, Phillip May, Steven Lee, Libby Lee Wallace and Joan Eberly; and her in-laws, Ron, Judy Benson, Jack, Lou Ann Benson, Jill and David Smith.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (607 N San Antonio St, Sabinal, TX 78881). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Stanford Chapel Cemetery (11002 Chapel Rd, Lorena, TX 76655).
Memorial donations may be made to Treeline Pass (https://www.coloradogives.org), which was founded on behalf of Pam's granddaughter and her peers with developmental disabilities, or to her church home of 20 years.
