With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Modene Davis Horton of Sabinal, Texas, who passed away on December 9, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Davis and Sylvia Davis (Sampson); her husband Eck Horton; her siblings, Juanita Moody (Walter) and Charles Davis (Edna); her son Douglas Horton; and her daughter-in-law Kimberly Horton.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Horton (Debby) and Kirk Horton. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made to Sabinal First Baptist church or Sabinal Cemetery Association.
