He was predeceased by: his parents, Librado Alejandro and Casimira Alejandro (Alvarez); his wife Herminia Alejandro; his sons, Jesus Alejandro Jr. and Agustin Alejandro; and his siblings, Elena Rodriguez, Maria Hernandez, Josefina Alejandro, Leonor Calsado, Anita Rodriguez and Francisco A. Alejandro (Ingla) of Cibolo.
He is survived by: his children, Nelida Velasquez (Arturo) of San Antonio, Regina Rodriguez (Albert) of Castroville, Lee Alejandro (Elda) of Knippa, Manuel Alejandro (Nikol) of San Antonio and Esteban Alejandro (Jeannette) of Knippa; his daughter-in-law Maria Alejandro of Uvalde; and his siblings, Janie Garcia (Alex) of San Antonio, Librado Alejandro Jr. of Dallas and Pete Alejandro of San Antonio. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
