He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Day and Rosa Day; his former wife Alma Day; his daughters, Patricia Day and Sharon O'Neal; and his siblings, Lola Batson, Opal Murdock and Carl Day.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Tyler Day; and his children, Marcia Warren, Paula Stewart and William Day Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
