With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William E. Tosh of Rusk, Texas, who passed away on November 4, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Waters and Maude "Honey" Tosh; his former wife Lynda Matlock Tosh; and his siblings, Wayne Tosh and Mary Ann Nichols.

He is survived by: his grandfather Bill; his wife Sheryl Tosh of Lake Striker; his children, Shelley Norman (Rodney) of Rusk, Pat Tosh (Christy) of Winona and Nikki Scales (Buddy) of Winona; his stepchildren, Lisa Bonin, Cindy Johnson, Jessica Fuselier, Monica Landsman (Lewis), Rachel Israel and Chris Dupre; and his grandchildren, Austin Norman, Collin Norman, Elizabeth Minter, Tondra Phillips, Kayla Simmons, Chase Kennedy, Crystal Scales and Josh Scales.

“My heart is heavy for you in the loss of your beloved. When we moved away from Rusk I could only spend a few weeks in the summer with relatives, but it was something I looked forward to all year. Part of that good time was due to the friendship among Sue, Connie, Lynda and Bill. I know he will be sorely missed, and I pray the good memories will far outweigh the sorrow.
