He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Ford and Cornelia Ford. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Ford; his children, Jennifer Ford of Rusk and Chris Ford (Cori) of Rusk; his siblings, Barbara McCreight (Charles) of Rusk, LaVerne Lusk (Jerry) of Rusk and Larry Ford (Becky) of Rusk; his grandchildren, Thomas Munsinger, Evelyn Peters, Caden Ford, Aubrie Ford, Truitt Ford and Brinlee Ford; and his close friend Bobby Long.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home (221 W 5th St, Rusk, TX 75785). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church (1025 Co Rd 2109, Rusk, TX 75785).
