She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Brown and Lena Brown; her husband Jack Farris; her daughters, Betty Helms and Jackie Meek; her grandchildren, Will Helms, Kenneth Helms and Jordan Farris; and her siblings, Dovie Berryhill, Buster Brown, Loya Brown, Edna Clay, John Brown, Fred Brown and Bessie Jennings.
She is survived by: her children, Russell Farris and Vida Meiners; her grandchildren, Jack Fielder, Brian Fielder, Lindsay Saunders, Lisa Farris, Brandi Rutherford and Marcus Farris; her great grandchildren, Aundria Sanchez, Aaron Helms and Jordan Saunders; and her great great grandchild Jayden Tolliver of Abel Vidal. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
