It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Helen Haney of Rusk, Texas, born in Alto, Texas, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Knott and Maybelle Huggins Knott; and her husband Orland Haney. She is survived by: her son Charlie; her daughter-in-law Cindy Haney of Rusk; her daughters, Orlene (Jim Crosby), Brenda (David Farias) and Cindy (Bill Lampe); her brother Jerry; her sister-in-law Jan Knott of Alto; her sisters, Sarah Hodges of Wells, Joann Hodges of Wells and Lizzy Dunn of Rusk; and her grandchildren, Johnnie, Jeremy, Norman, Cameron, Timothy, Ricky, Helen, David, Charles, Kristi and Bryan. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren and 16 great great grandchildren.
