She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas and Lucy Joesphine Prestridge (Brimberry); her husband William Everett Turner; and her siblings, Ruby Cherry, William Prestridge (Dobber), Faye Teel and Sue Heston.
She is survived by: her children, William Turner Jr. (Cristina) of Sulphur Springs and Kathryn Bennett of Rusk; her granddaughters, Margie L. Turner of Round Rock and Katie Turner of New Waverly; and her brother John Dale Prestridge of Seguin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bailey & Foster Chapel (207 S Magnolia St, Palestine, TX 75801). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Roselawn Park (2591 US-84, Palestine, TX 75801).
