It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Marie May of Rusk, Texas, born in Dialville, Texas, who passed away on April 22, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Columbus "Lum" Johnson McKnight and Gracie Gilmore Poston McKnight; her husbands, Edward L. Wynn and William Benjamin May; her children, Linda McKnight, Laura Adelle Waddle, Jimmy Wynn and Randy Craig May; and her close friend Peggy Abernathy.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, William Craig May (Annie) of Grandview, TX, Bradley Allen May of Coral Springs, FL, Shane Eugene May (Amy) of Oak Point, TX, Austin Waddle of Rockwall, TX, Amber Dawn Douglas (Joshua) of Lakeland, FL, Clayton Waddle of Garland, TX and Eric Wynn. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and countless friends.
