He was predeceased by: his mothers, Fern Varge and Thelma Minnie Miller (Martin); his daughter Sarah Miller; his siblings, Elizabeth Ann Stevens and Varge Lee Miller; and his nephew James Lee Miller.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Locke Miller of Rusk; his daughters, Rachael Miller of Rusk, Tracy Miller of Etoile, Keri Clamp (Brent) of Nacogdoches and Christy Young (Jim) of Lufkin; his grandchildren, Mikayla Young, Alyssa Kolb, Nathan Gene Miller and Breanna Clamp; and his great grandchild Allie Rose Decker.
