He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Joe Jennings; and his grandparents, Joe and Merle Guinn. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Jennings of Rusk; his children, Megan Bowman (Tim) of Rusk and Joe Bob Jennings (Amanda) of Troup, TX; his mother Gloria Jennings of Rusk; his grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Kamdyn, Alyssa, Mason and Tinslee; his sister Cindy; and his brother-in-law John McGuinness of Rusk. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
