He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Ray and Ethel Glenn Parsons (Kennedy); his sister Glenda Jo Parsons; and his sister-in-law Rita Parsons. He is survived by: his wife Pamela Parsons; his children, Dianne Mitchell (Jeremy), Chip Wilkes (Randell), Whitney Parker (Joseph) and Dustin Parsons; his siblings, Chris Parsons, Sandra Parsons (David) and Betty Collins (Darvin); his brother-in-law George Dickson; his grandchildren, Drew Linville (Brooke), Jackson Wilkes, Tessa Parker, Evelyn Wilkes, Kiera Wilkes and Emma Parker; his great grandchild Bryar Wayne Linville; and his cousins, Alton and Wanda Peterson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude in his honor.
