She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Smith; and her granddaughter Scarlet Lynae Smith. She is survived by: her sister Sherrell Long Grogan of Rusk; her sons, Kirby Smith (Lisa) of Rusk and Kerry Smith (Anna) of Cypress, TX; her grandchildren, Sierra Kay Scholl (Drew) of Hallsville, TX, Joshua Taylor Smith (Amanda) of Houston and Haley LeAnne McKay (Kyndal) of Cypress, TX; her great grandchildren, David Brady Scholl, Wade Thomas Scholl, Harper Lynae Scholl, Eleanor James McKay and Adeline Jane McKay; her niece Lesley Dodd Rodasti (Phil) of Cypress, TX; her nephews, Robert Byron Long (Kerry) of Longview, TX and Bradley Bothwell Long (Jen) of Dallas, TX; her great-niece Megan Lorraine Long; and her great-nephew Austin Bothwell Long.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (372 E 4th St, Rusk, TX 75785). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
