He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Louise Hightower McBroom of Rusk; his wife Connie Jean of Rusk; his children, Matthew Wayne McBroom (Jackie) of Forest, Amy Moore (Daniel) of Ft. Worth and Tina Propes (Kris) of Tatum; and his siblings, David McBroom (Lisa) of Rusk, Delcie White (Kenneth) of Maydelle, Deborah Barkley (Dale) of Kingwood, Darla Massingill (Robert) of Lufkin and Deandra Miller of Martindale.
