It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Copeland of Rusk, Texas, born in Conroe, Texas, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hyram Copeland and Carrie Lee Monroe Copeland; and his grandson Stephen Branham. He is survived by: his wife Fayne Copeland of Rusk; his children, Patricia McCarty (James) of Alto, Melony Branham (Jerry) of Rusk and Rickey Copeland (Lana) of Katy, TX; and his grandchildren, Brandon Copeland (Dani) of Katy, Trenton Copeland of Ft Worth, TX, Jami Hicks (Brian) of Rusk, Ashley Johnson of Rusk, Shannon Johnson (Bryan) of Rusk and Kane McCarty of Mt. Enterprise. He is also survived by great great grandchildren; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
