He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Doyle Grimes (Pete) and Mary Ruth Grimes (Smith). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Jo Grimes (Maness); his children, Tina Renee Callaway (Shane) of Alto, Phillip Doyle Grimes of Rusk and Jeremy Wayne Grimes of Rusk; his grandchildren, Branton Rodriguez, Peyton Rodriguez, Dakota Grimes (Jenna), Hunter Grimes, Brendan Grimes and Molly Callaway; his great grandchild Oaklee Rodriguez; and his siblings, Sharon Poole (Jerry) of Nacogdoches and Robert Grimes (Ginnie) of Montana.
