He was predeceased by: his father John Brittain New; and his brother Keith New. He is survived by: his mother Gloria Howerton New of Rusk; and his siblings, Scott New (Cindy) of Sherwood, Arkansas and Laura New of Kansas City. He is also survived by three nieces and one nephew.
