He is survived by: his wife Christie Ferguson of Rusk; his children, Becca Escher of Rusk, Karrisa Key, Saphira Key of Huntington and Daniel Ferguson of Rusk; his parents, Elbert Ferguson Sr. of Lufkin and Margaret Gore of Woodville; his sister Mary Wideman (Fran) of Lufkin; his stepsiblings, Susan Justus of Lufkin, John Paul Reese of Lufkin and David Reese of Lufkin; his aunts, Dorthey Hunt of Lufkin, Mary Bishop of Lufkin, Helen Lois Hale of Lufkin, Patty Lee of Lufkin, Rita Ferguson of Hudson, Linda Trapp of Silsbee, Jean Parker of Lufkin and Rita Ener of Coldwater; his uncle Eliga Ray Ferguson Sr. of Lufkin; his parents-in-law, Joelene Schermann of Jacksonville, TX and Steve Escher of Rusk; and his sister-in-law Alexa Escher of Walla Walla, WA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
