He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Virginia Hanson of Rusk; his children, Michael Hanson of Rusk and Patti (Jim Williams) of Bullard; his grandsons, Michael Jr. (Tammy Hanson) of Timpson, Justin Keith (Brandy Hanson) of Vinton, John Cody Hanson (Wendy) of Starks and Jason (Myra Ball) of Rusk; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Ball of Rusk, Shane Ball of Rusk, Jake Michael Hanson of Timpson, Macey Jo Hanson of Timpson and Abbie Hanson of Starks; and his sister Winnie Evans of Clute. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
