She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Wilhite and Mamie Wilhite; her husband Earl Matlock; her son Dennis Matlock; and her brothers, Elmo Wilhite and Rusty Wilhite.
She is survived by: her children, Melisa Matlock of Rusk, Lana (Rickey Copeland) of Dallas, Melvin (Erin Matlock) of Schertz and Don (Hope Matlock) of Allen; her grandchildren, Michael Curl, Hayden Curl, Brandon, Dani Copeland, Trenton, Annie Copeland, Christine, Shay Wester, Mark, Jennifer Matlock, Lauren Matlock, Heather, Craig McCue, Daniel, Ashley Matlock, Alison and Cody Tyson; and her sister Dorothy (Jerry Crowder) of Olympia, Washington.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.
