We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2024, at the age of 88, Shirley Janecek of Runge, Texas, born in Yorktown, Texas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Janecek to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Belle and Seth Burleson Copeland; her husband John "Kemp" Janecek; and her brothers, James "Buddy" Copeland and Robert "Bob" Copeland.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Janecek Moy (Phil), John Janecek (JoAnna) and Jay Janecek (Kaylen); her grandchildren, Blaise Moy (Broghan), Ty Moy (Kelsey), Shaw Moy (Travis Granberry), Caroline Janecek, Payton Janecek, Price Janecek and Amanda Janecek; her great grandchildren, Taos Moy, Tilden Moy and Karlee Belle Moy; and her sister Kaye Osburn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shirley's honor to the American Cancer Society or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation – Texas Gulf Coast Chapter.
