She was predeceased by: her parents, James Dalva Allen and Mamie Merritt Allen; her brothers, Dalva Allen, Kenneth Allen, Donald Allen and Larry Allen; her former husband John William Riley; her son John Patrick Riley; and her great grandchild Jaxon Charles Grand.
She is survived by: her husband Harry William "Bill" Jauer; her stepchildren, Matthew Jauer, Paul Jauer (Terrie), Julie Jauer Braun (Burke) and Laurie Jauer Carrothers (David); her daughter-in-law Mary Riley; her grandchildren, Burke Braun II, Brady Braun, Blake Braun, Hadley Jauer, Acie Jauer, Jake Carrothers, Mona Ramoz, Miriam Jauer and Jamie Grand; her great grandchildren, Katie Musemeche, Breelynn, Bowen Braun, Finn Carrothers and Emily; her great great grandchildren, Olivia and Ameila Musemeche; her sister Charlotte Allen Pierce; her nieces, Cynthia Lambert and Mary Ann Vackar (John); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tracy Prater, Abigail Vackar, Austin Vackar and Adam Vackar; and also, Charlotte and Ella Prater.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel (115 S Esplanade St, Karnes City, TX 78118).
In lieu of floral arrangements, Nelda requested consideration in making a donation to the local Runge Museum, of which she enjoyed volunteering at often.
